This is well written and cogent. Because the conclusion is controversial, I would love to see the assertions footnoted — for instance, a source for the amount of tree cover today versus a century ago. Then the case will be stronger still.
Pacific Lumber in California was for many years famous for forest management and replanting. Not sure how they are now.
